Oaklawn Race Track has been a cornerstone of Hot Springs visitor entertainment for years. Oaklawn not only provides exciting thoroughbred racing, but also includes a new casino gaming facility (the largest in Arkansas). The 2010 racing season is set to kick off on January 15th at 1 p.m.
The excitement is already beginning to build as many of Oaklawn’s favorite horses arrive in Hot Springs, and the preparations begin for the first meet of the season. The horses have just begun training at Oaklawn Race Track this week!
If you are planning a visit to Oaklawn Race Track in 2010, be sure to reserve your tickets now. In the meantime, Oaklawn provides a multitude of activities to keep vacationers, visitors and Hot Springs residents at the height of entertainment.
The state of the art Oaklawn Casino was a recent addition to the facility and includes poker tables, blackjack tables, slot machines, double diamond and more. The newest additions to Oaklawn Gaming are the instant racing games, which allow horse racing fans to instantly view and wager on digital races.
Another featured series of upcoming events at Oaklawn are the college bowl series, which should have their assignments complete in early December. Oaklawn is planning to broadcast any Arkansas Razorbacks bowl games in various stations across the facility.
All in all, sounds like a really exciting 2010 for Oaklawn Race Track. Every year, more and more Hot Springs visitors have an experience at Oaklawn that they won’t forget.
